Big News - Swingtime is going to NEW YORK.

'No' not the American New York, but the Gold Coast, New York Ballroom, Yes that's right, swingtime are starting classes at the New York Ballroom starting on the 12 April. The dashing Darryl and the delightful Bobby will start the Thursday nights off with there style of Rockabilly at 7pm And Debbie and myself will do the swing classes at 8.30pm all times and venues are now updated on the web, just press the classes button. They are also going to let us have Saturday night dancers so stayed tunned to the web site for further up dates.

This week we introduced you to our new teachers, Bobbi and Darryl, Darryl's back ground is more rockabilly, he has been doing it for over 20 years and teaching it for 15, he has also been doing swing now for about 5 years, Bobbi has partnered Darryl for the past 7 years and wear in our swingtime hotshots dance trop until he done his knee in, he's all better now and ready to show you guys what they have got. They were a bit nerves on Monday night but they will soon get into the swing of things. and thank you for making them feel welcomed.

Well that was our first surprise then come our second, splitting the class up and doing the intermediate class at the same time as the beginners, as a teacher I had a great time and I think it went really well, but at the end of the day its you students that has to feel comfy, please e-mail me at debgarry@hotmail.com, and let me know what you think, please let me know about anything you feel about the classes good or bad so we can improve and make your time with us more enjoyable.

The advanced class was just that, advanced, doing the Charleston chase was a very had move to learn, and we nearly made it to the end, well done guys, we will be going over this move again, but we have simplified it,
