Swingtime offers dance workshops on a regular basis, with our team of talented teachers. Workshops are a great way to take your dancing to the next level, improve your technique, add more styling or learn more about the other aspects of dancing.
Special workshops are also run by Swingtime,
featuring some of the World's Best Teachers brought to Australia
for you to experience. Some of these workshops previously
organized by Swingtime include, SLX (Sydney Lindy Exchange"
with Nathalie and Yuvall (USA) , "Hollywood Down Under"
with Marcus & Baerble (Germany), "Swing It Sydney"
with Erik & Sylvia and David & Kim (USA), and a
workshop with Rob & Diane (USA).
Intermediate Balboa workshop – Sunday 24 th February
You've been asking for it so here it is - Intermediate Balboa workshop, come and join the fun. As a follow up to our beginning Balboa classes over the Christmas break we will be running a true intermediate workshop to give you something extra to add to your balboa tool kit. To get the most from this workshop you will need to be confident with your basics, break turns and lollys.

Beginners Rockabilly Dance Workshop Dates
Workshops from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on the following dates:
- Sunday 11th November
- Sunday 9th December
Come and learn this cool dance style from the 1950's. We will show you the basics, technique and some cool moves to get you started in this 3 hour workshop.
This workshop is designed for brand new beginners or dancers who would like to refresh the basics.

Beginner Refresher Workshop is now offered just prior to the Intermediate session so you can refresh the basics before moving on to Intermediate. This is ideal for dancers who have completed the 3 hour Beginners Dance Workshop who would like to consolidate what they have learnt.

This workshop is a 2 hour session which is designed to improve your dancing technique as well as learning new dance moves. This workshop is for dancers who have at least satisfactorily completed our Beginners or Beginners Refresher Workshops or dancers who would like to improve their style and learn more moves.
Remember, if you are more comfortable dancing with your own partner, you are welcome to come as a couple and stay together or come by yourself and join the rotating circle, where you will get a chance to practice with a number of different partners.
